Leveling and longitudinal profiles

Leveling   is a fundamental process in determining the  levels of land or work , starting from a known initial or exit level. These levelings provide precise information about the  difference in level between different points , which is crucial for various purposes.

This type of altimetric measurements allow us to resolve unknowns related to  differences in height , as well as establish  work levels for platforms , calculate  water evacuation slopes on public roads , determine  unevenness in pipes  and carry out  grading leveling  in projects such as highways, soccer fields, dikes, breakwaters, airport runways and sills, among others.

On the other hand,  longitudinal profiles  are documents that reflect in detail the altimetric differences along an itinerary or between two specific points, showing the different slopes and partial distances from the point of origin of the trace.

These longitudinal profiles are very useful both in the architectural field, where they are used in  housing projects, terraces and terraces , and in the field of engineering, where they are fundamental in the design of  public road layouts, pipelines and other construction works. infrastructure .
