Geothermal energy

What is geothermal energy?

Geothermal energy is a technology that uses energy stored in the subsoil as a sink or energy capture . This achieves  greater performance  than other energy efficiency systems, since it uses the  temperature stability that the interior of the earth offers us .

The new   geothermal  installation can be connected in parallel  with an existing conventional installation in the building,  providing cold, heat or both .

Where can it be installed?

Water-water chilling plants have   small  dimensions  and can be  installed inside a closed area , so they do not cause noise problems.

We design  geothermal installations  in  hotels ,  buildings  and  sports facilities  as well as in  single-family homes .

How is geothermal installed?

Geothermal energy is extracted from the subsoil, through the earth (closed geothermal) or water (open geothermal). Depending on the location of the home, building or complex and its energy needs, one or another technique will be chosen…

The installation has a bi-energy water tank that supplies hot water to radiators or underfloor heating and heats tap water.

  • Use equipment , without external units.
  • Low noise  and  small size system  .
  • It produces no  CO2 emissions  or  fuel storage.

High energy efficiency is achieved   due to its  energy exchange system .

A  geothermal installation  contributes to a  better  ISO  14001  building  qualification .

Geothermal energy covers all the energy needs of a home, building or complex and requires low maintenance.  This technology makes possible great savings in energy costs.

Geothermal energy systems

Geothermal systems intended for buildings, in which the heat of the subsoil is used, which remains homogeneous throughout the year, regardless of external weather conditions, consist of drilling or excavating the Earth to a depth at which its temperature is constant.

This energy use is carried out using a geothermal heat pump that is connected to a heat exchange circuit with the ground and another with the building. Depending on where it comes from, two main types can be distinguished: those that take advantage of the energy of the ground or closed loop  and  those that use groundwater known as  open loop.

DLC Geothermal Probe

The new technology of the  DCL geothermal probe combines the benefits of both types of geothermal systems, on the one hand, it is a closed loop system, and on the other hand, no extraction or discharge of subsoil water is required.

The DCL system  is made up of a geothermal probe that extracts energy from inside the borehole through a system capable of energy exchange with up to 10 times more efficiency than the traditional system, with an initial investment up to 70% lower.

The DCL probe  is composed of a bundle of a large number of small diameter tubes, through which the water from the aquifer is circulated, thus cooling the fluid that arrives inside the bundle of tubes, coming from our heat pump. , with much greater efficiency than traditional closed loop systems.

We take care of everything

We carry out a free feasibility report with no obligation on the part of the client. This study will assess the installation costs and demonstrate the real savings in electricity and fuel that the application of geothermal energy will provide.

In addition, we take care of processing all the necessary permits and help you with the financing of the project.

We help you with installation costs

As it is an environmentally friendly energy system, geothermal installations can benefit from calls for aid from institutions. We also take care of the processing of your application for said aid.

In addition, we offer you the possibility of financing the investment to be made through the energy savings that you will obtain.
